Stocks Live is a rich, yet simple financial app. It was created by a day trader/investor/graphics lover/geek/cook. So, here is how to use Stocks Live to find winners:

1. 1.Define your investment strategy. This is key to finding winners. You might be looking for stocks to short, stocks that will move higher in the short term, stocks that pay dividends, penny stocks, ETFs or whatever you think will make you money. The important thing is, be clear about your strategy, write it down.
   

2. 2.Pick your Market Activity (First Tab). Now is the time to activate your strategy by picking the appropriate Activity filter/filters. Once you pick it, Stocks Live will make it very easy to see the collection of stocks that satisfies your strategy. Stocks Live has lots of activities grouped by 17 countries. Tap on the (+) button in the Markets tab to choose.
   

3. 3.Manual research. You tap on the activity and you see bunch of stocks, now is the time to read news, browse charts, check events and profiles.
   

4. 4.Monitor for later buy or ignore. Create a watch list or virtual portfolio for your future ‘buy’ list. Monitor this list from time to time. It is not important to get in right away, you can give it time, you can even use this list to test your strategy. You need to have confidence in your strategy as a way to avoid panicking if the big players decide to party. Staring version 2.2, you can simulate a price target and let Stocks Live calculate your total portfolio value and the performance.
   

Finally, you can pick winners but you never sell them. This is the tricky part. First, you need to know that in the stock market, there is always tomorrow, so never regret selling a winner; second, you can never claim a profit unless you sell, so set a target price and sell when you reach it.

That being said, no one ever makes profit all the time, but it is the percentage of profit to loss that makes winners.
