The short version: we don't collect your data. Cooking has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud.
Recipes and events are stored on your device. Your recipe library syncs through your private iCloud database, which only you can access — Cinnamon Mobile cannot read it. Recipe illustrations are generated on your device and never uploaded.
When you share an event with guests, a snapshot of that event (menu, cooking progress, serving time, your display name, and any location or message you chose to include) is published to Apple's CloudKit so people with your link can view it. Anyone with the link can see this snapshot until you stop sharing or delete the event, which removes it. Fields marked private in the app — like Private Notes and recipe notes — are never included.
If you use the ingredient capture feature, photos are analyzed on your device by Apple's Vision framework and immediately discarded. Photos never leave your device.
Cooking Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We receive no personal or payment information.
There are none. Cooking uses only Apple system services (iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, Apple Intelligence on-device models).
